Friday December 7th: The Girl's Basketball Team traveled to Hysham Friday afternoon and took on the Lady Pirates. It was a pretty close game in the first quarter of the game but after that the Lady Bulldogs took a huge lead and never slowed down. The Pirates never did give up until the final buzzer. The Dawgs won the game with a final score of 67-26. There was a huge turnout as far as the crowd goes and we look forward to seeing you this weekend when we take on Beach, Baker and Broadus!!!

Thursday December 13th: The Girl's Basketball Team traveled to Beach, ND, to take on the Buccaneers. The battle for bragging rights started at 5:30 pm with the JV girls game. The Dawgs had a hard time scoring and were not able to put up any points in the first half. In the end they fell to the Buccaneers. After the JV game the Varsity girls went out looking for a win but unfortunately they also had a hard time getting any points on the board. Beach outscored and out-rebounded them in both the first and second half. The Varsity girls didn't get to notch a win either and fell to the Buccaneers with a score of 43-75.

 Friday December 14th: The Lady Bulldogs took on the Baker Spartans, at home. They went out with the mind set of beating Baker. Their plans worked out great and the Bulldogs took the lead early in the game and didn't slow down until the final buzzer. The ending of the game brought the Bulldogs a victory with a score of 55-41.

Saturday December 15th:The girls took on the Lady Hawks, at home yet again. The Bulldogs came out fighting and didn't slow down one bit. The Hawks tried for a come-back in the second quarter but were unable to catch the Dawgs. The game went on in favor of the Bulldogs and the final score was 52-29. 

Friday December 21st: The Lady Bulldogs were ready to take on the Northern Cheyenne Eagles but to our surprise they didn't come to Ekalaka. So it turned out that the Dawgs took on the Alumni. (CCHS Has Beens) This team consisted of CCHS graduates who were home for Christmas vacation. The Lady Bulldogs jumped to a quick start and never slowed down. The Has Beens made a run for it at the end but were unable to catch the Bulldogs. The final score of the game was 52-47.

Saturday December 22nd: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Jordan to take on the Mustangs. The scoring was back and forth in the first quarter, and they edged a half-time score of 24-19, Bulldogs. The Dawgs were able to put up 20 points in the third quarter and had the game in the bag. The Lady Bulldogs last game of 2007 was finished with a score of 50-37.

Friday January 4th: The Terry Terriers traveled down to Ekalaka to take on the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs had no trouble taking the lead early in the game and weren't afraid to put the Terriers away. The Dawgs notched another win Friday night with a final score of 71-38.

Saturday January 5th: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Rosebud to take on the Wranglers. The girls came out fired up and jumped to another quick start against the young Wranglers' team. The girls didn't have any trouble putting up more points and ended up putting the Wranglers away too. The final score of the game was 55-28. We hope to see you at the games this weekend when the Bulldogs take on the Wibaux Longhorns Friday and the Plevna Cougars on Saturday!

Friday January 11th: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Wibaux to take on the Longhorns. This game started out hard for the Bulldogs due to tough opposing players and refs. After a long, hard fought game the Bulldogs won with a final score of 54-38.

Saturday January 12th: The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Plevna Cougars. Plevna traveled down here to Ekalaka and had a roster of 7 girls, two of them being 8th graders. Even though this team was young and somewhat small they still put up a good fight. In the end the Bulldogs notched another win, ending the game with a score of 50-37. We look forward to seeing you again this weekend when we travel to Baker and Broadus.

Friday January 18th: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Baker to take on the Lady Spartans. It was a close game for the first half and left the Bulldogs somewhat tired. After a half time recuperation, the Bulldogs came out on the floor and put the Spartans away. The final score was 55-46.

Saturday January 19th: The Bulldogs traveled to Broadus the next day to take on the Hawks. This was a game somewhat close to the Baker game. The Hawks tested the Bulldogs throughout the whole first half but were unable to stop them in the second half. The Bulldogs took over the game and won with a final score of 67-42. The weekend ended good again for the Lady Bulldogs leaving them 8-0 (conference) and 11-1 (all). 

Friday January 25th: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Northern Cheyenne to take on the Lady Eagles. The game started out kind of slow for the Bulldogs but it didn't take long for it to take off! The JV girls got quite a bit of playing time in this game. The final score was 69-36.

Saturday January 26th: The Lady Mustangs traveled to Ekalaka and attempted to defeat the Lady Bulldogs. This game went in the Bulldogs favor and the Mustangs tried hard to keep up. Both teams worked hard and hustled for all four quarters but in the end the Lady Bulldogs beat the Mustangs. The final score was 64-33. The weekend left the Bulldogs with a record of 10-0(conference) and 13-1 (all).

Friday February 1st: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Terry to take on the Terry Terriers. The Dawgs came out with a slow start but eventually got ahead of the Terriers and never looked back. The JV girls got some playing time in this game as they ended the game with a final score of 59-35.

Saturday February 2nd: The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Rosebud Wranglers. From the start of the game until the end of the game the Dawgs dominated the Wranglers. This was also a quite slow game for the Bulldogs but it turned out just how they wanted it, with another win! The final score was 52-27. The weekend left the Bulldogs with a 12-0 (conf) and 15-1 (all).

Friday February 7th: The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Wibaux Longhorns. The Dawgs jumped to a quick start and ended the first quarter with of score of about 29-5. Well, the first half worked out great for the Bulldogs but, in-turn, the second half wasn't quite as good! The Longhorns put the Bulldogs to the test and edged closer and closer. After a few minutes the Dawgs pulled it back together and ended the game with a score of 56-43.

Saturday February 8th: The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Plevna to take on the Lady Cougars. This game was somewhat like the one the night before. This also tested the Bulldogs abilities. The Cougars fought hard and were down by seven points in the first half. The Bulldogs came out of the locker room fired up after the half and put the Cougars away with a final score of 71-48.

The Lady Bulldogs have brought their regular season to an end and are the conference champions with a record of 14-0. Their overall record is currently 17-1. The Lady Dawgs will travel to Glendive on Wednesday and take on the Lady Eagles at 8:30 am Thursday morning. We hope to see you all there and cheer them on to Divisionals. Wednesday February 13th: The Lady Bulldogs attended a pep-rally and then had a great spaghetti dinner (thank you parents)!!!! After they ate they boarded the bus, along with the boys, and traveled to Glendive. When they arrived they went to bed in hopes of a great upcoming tournament.

Tournament Time

Thursday February 14th:(First Round) The Lady Bulldogs woke up early to go out and notch another win against the Northern Cheyenne Eagles. This game was at a very early time and the Lady Bulldogs showed it in their game!! In the second half of the game the Bulldogs picked up the pace and won the game with a final score of 71-34.

Friday February 15th:(Semifinals) The Dawgs were scheduled to play the Terry Terriers and had no problems putting them away. This game, unlike the previous one, was more upbeat for the Bulldogs and they showed no signs of turning back!! The final score was 58-28. This win brought the Lady Bulldogs to the Saturday night Championship game, against the Wibaux Longhorns.

Saturday February 16th: (Championship) The Lady Bulldogs came out to a slow start against the Wibaux Longhorns but never gave up. At half time the score was tied up at 20-20. Sometime during the second half of the game the Bulldogs fell behind by 9 points, but they still didn't give up!! This game was fought hard by both teams and the Bulldogs ended up shooting quite a few free throws in the end!! The Lady Bulldogs notched their third win of the tournament and ended the game with a final score of 41-38. Their overall record so far is 20-1. The Lady Bulldogs advance to the Divisional Tournament, along with the Wibaux Longhorns and the Plevna Cougars. Congratulations to all the teams who played hard at the District Tournament and we hope to see all of our fans there cheering us on at Divisionals in Miles City, in two weeks!!!

Thursday February 28th: The first day of the divisional tournament brought good things to the Lady Bulldogs as they took on the Absarokee Huskies. The Bulldogs and Huskies both fought hard until the end but not to the Huskies favor, the Bulldogs notched their first win in the tournament. The final score was 54-39. This game would advance the Bulldogs to the semifinals where they would take on the Harlowton Engineers; Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. The Absarokee Huskies would take on the Robert's Rockets the next day.

Friday February 29th: The Lady Bulldogs rested most of the day and tried to kill time as they waited for their 6:30 game against the Engineers. Both the Bulldogs and the Engineers fought ending the first half with a score tied at 17. The second half however, didn't go in the Bulldogs favor due to a series of missed shots and unfortunate turnovers. Neither the Dawgs nor the Engineers slowed down in the second half but unfortunately the Engineers shots started falling. The game ended with a final score of 50-36. This put the Bulldogs in an early morning game against the Plevna Cougars and the Engineers were headed to the championship.

Saturday March 1st: The Lady Bulldogs got up earlier than usual and took on the Lady Cougars. This was a close game and neither of the teams gave up. The final score of the game was 47-41. The Lady Bulldogs then went on to the consolation game to take on the Wibaux Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. This game also went in the Bulldogs favor as they put the Longhorns away in the end. This was also a hard fought game for both of the teams. The game was close throughout, and ended in favor of the Lady Blue with a final score of 40-31. The championship game also worked out well for the Dawgs as the Harlowton Engineers defeated the Joliet J-Hawks in OT. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Miles City, on Monday night, to challenge the Lady J-Hawks for second place. Thank you to all of our fans for your support and also a big thank you to our parents!! We wouldn't have gotten this far without all of you!!!

Monday March 3rd: The Lady Bulldogs came out of the Locker room pumped up and ready to put the Lady J-Hawks away. Well...they did just that!! The Dawgs scored the first bucket and never slowed down. The J-Hawks didn't give up either, they stayed in the game until the end. The score was close until the 4th quarter, the J-Hawks kept the score within 7-10 point range for the entire game. The Lady Bulldogs kept up the pace and continued to bring it to the hole. The final score of the game was 43-35. Once again a big thank you goes out to the parents and all of our fans, we couldn't have done it with out you. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Belgrade on Wednesday afternoon to take on Twin Bridges on Thursday at 12:30.

Wednesday March 5th: The Lady Bulldogs attended a fabulous pep-rally, boarded the bus to travel to Bozeman and got ready for their first state game against Twin Bridges.

Thursday March 6th: The Lady Bulldogs stepped out onto the gym floor at noon to start warm-ups. The buzzer rang, the starters were announced and players shook hands at half court. The game remained pretty close throughout, but towards the end the Bulldogs started to fall behind and Twin Bridges never looked back. The winner of this game would advance to the semi-finals and the loser would move down to the first loser-out game of the tournament. The final score of this game was 48-38.

Friday March 7th: The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to play Belt at 11. Due to some unfortunate injuries and turnovers the Bulldogs were lacking in all aspects. Belt never looked back and the Bulldogs never gave up, so the game went on!! Belt kept up the tempo of the game and the Bulldogs started to fall behind. The final score of the game was 59-39. This meant that the Lady Bulldogs were headed home and Belt was scheduled to play Circle at 5 the same evening.

We would like to congratulate all of the teams who made it to state and also compliment you on all of your achievements. We would also like to thank all of our fans for supporting us all season long.
